International Fitness Week’s a great idea to give everyone a reason to get moving. Finding what works for you is vital to make sure you not only enjoy it but keep doing it! I find getting your partner involved is great, you can have some fun competition and keep each other motivated at home.

To focus International Fitness Week around finding what works for you is a great idea to help you enjoy exercise.
What works for me is one to one training tailored to my health and fitness needs. My Fitness First PT ensures that the exercises I carry out don't affect my illness and ensure I attempt everything to 100 per cent of my ability which allows me to get fantastic results. It also boosts my confidence and self esteem.

Why not try a group exercise class like Strictly Fit during International Fitness Week to boost your motivation. Remember everyone had to start from somewhere and there is always someone doing a class for the first time like you, so never feel intimidated. They can be a great way to have fun and burn calories at the same time.

Max Exton: New You Achievement Award Sport category winner 2010I think International Fitness Week is a great idea because it can be a kick start to transforming your life. I found having a personal trainer reassuring and very effective for the right guidance on which exercises I should be doing. It has been a huge help overall and the encouragement and support I have received has kept me very motivated and determined. I am even going to enter my first running race this year and am really looking forward to it.
